What NAILE Actually Is
The North American International Livestock Exposition runs November 5 through 19, 2026 at the Kentucky Exposition Center. It’s been happening in Louisville every year since 1974, and it’s grown into the largest all-breed, purebred livestock show in the world. More than 23,000 animals show up, across cattle, sheep, goats, swine, dairy cattle, llamas, alpacas, and more, with exhibitors coming in from across the United States and Canada.
That’s not a weekend show. That’s two full weeks, which means most exhibiting families aren’t booking a single night, they’re booking a stretch, sometimes the whole run if they’re showing more than one species or helping with a junior show.
